Remember Nhu Missions Trip Application

Trip Dates: August 8-19, 2023*

Trip Cost Estimate: $3750*

Trip costs include all air and ground transportation, visa, lodging, meals, and spending money ($100 USD) for snacks and souvenirs in Kenya. Does not include spending money for snack/souvenirs while travelling from US to Kenya, vaccinations or passport fees. While trip participants are responsible for cost of the trip, they will be encouraged to raise support.

A passport that is valid until Feb. 20, 2024 with several open pages is required.

Vaccinations: As of February 2023, to enter Kenya, each team member will have to show either proof of Covid-19 vaccination, OR proof of a negative Covid test within 72 hours of the date you arrive in Kenya. To return to the US, nothing is needed. All requirements have been lifted for US citizens returning to the US. See Kenyan Embassy website for Covid-19 vaccations details. Other vaccination recommendations/requirements can be found at CDC.

* Trip dates and trip cost are largely contingent on available flights to Kenya.

Because of the nature of the organiztion, Remember Nhu requires an extensive application which takes thought and time to fill out, and a national background check. In addition to information you will fill out on the Remember Nhu Team Application, the following criteria will be used to help us select the team for this trip. Unfortunately, spots are limited. Experience on a mission trip is not required. Please be honest and thorough in your answers as that will help us prayerfully put this team together. Note: The Remember Nhu Application will be sent to you once you submit this form showing your interest in being part of the team. The details and the cost of the background check are still pending.
